Using Results of Interwar GDP calculations: The Resilience of Cyprus Agriculture 1921 - 2000

This was an attempt to link current research in estimating the gdp of Cyprus from 1921 to 1938 with what we know Cyprus today: agriculture has been particularly important to the development of the island, but is ussually seen either as a drain of resources or a a provider of labour for the rest of the economy. This article started its life as a collaboration with my father; I am hopping to post that here as it is better attuned to the current situation in Cypriot agriculture
